LiveRamp pioneered breakthrough data collaboration technology that was reshaping enterprise marketing. But their brand hadn’t caught up. Stuck in a crowded field of “data management” platforms and fragmented internal narratives, the company was struggling to articulate its true value—and their revenue growth reflected that disconnect.
We led a comprehensive brand transformation that redefined LiveRamp as the leader in secure, scalable data collaboration. Together, we built a brand blueprint, strategic narrative, visual identity, and global messaging platform—unifying product names, capabilities, and proof points into one powerful, human-centered story.
More than a rebrand—it was a redefinition. We helped LiveRamp see themselves—and be seen—as a strategic enterprise partner. Anchored in a bold “No Compromises” platform, a radically simple identity, and a campaign built for impact, LiveRamp emerged transformed. What changed wasn’t just the story—but how confidently the business showed up to tell it.
What We Learned Along the Way
Change is hard, and worth it.
A shift from product-led to brand-led strategy is never easy. It demands time, trust, and organizational alignment to turn a bold new story into a catalyst for growth.
Simplicity scales. Complexity stalls.
LiveRamp’s story was buried under layers of technical nuance and competing narratives. By distilling the brand down to one powerful idea, we created a platform that could flex across teams, products, and global markets.
Design systems are expansive when done right.
A great design system doesn’t just create consistency—it unlocks creativity, adaptability, and belief. At LiveRamp, the right system elevated the brand across every touchpoint.

Designed for Precision, Built for Flexibility
LiveRamp’s brand had to stretch—across global teams, technical products, and executive audiences—without ever losing its edge. We built a modular system that scaled seamlessly across use cases: from investor decks and product demos to brand campaigns and internal culture. The visual language supports variation without sacrificing unity, giving teams the freedom to adapt without going off-brand. It’s a system that flexes—so the business can, too.
A Brand That Can Flex
LiveRamp’s illustrations introduce a human layer to a highly technical brand. Abstract yet expressive, the flowing line work brings contrast and warmth to a system rooted in precision. From event experiences to environments, the distinctive graphic vocabulary creates a consistent and compelling brand story.
Radical Simplicity, Built to Scale
LiveRamp’s identity system was designed to reflect a company in control—confident, precise, and built for enterprise impact. The logo, constructed from just a slash and an “L,” forms a literal ramp—symbolizing progress, elevation, and forward motion. The extensive brand toolkit—from strategy and identity to usage and implementation—was built not as a static document but as a comprehensive, digital brand microsite.
Even data engineers want to feel something.
We watched the most skeptical teams—technical, analytical, precise—start to reference the brand in real conversations. That’s what happens when your brand finally feels like the company you actually are.
Too many cooks.
When it comes to crunch time, respectfully reduce the number of voices in the room. It’s decision time. Alignment doesn’t mean consensus—it means clarity.
Swag > slide decks.
Nearly a year of strategic work. But the joy that came from shipping those new branded vests…priceless.
Sharpen all the tools.
We literally brought in a carpenter to custom-build furniture for the LiveRamp office. Because when you’re rebuilding a brand from the inside out—go big or go home!
